“I spent a couple of nights in the Bell Tent for my birthday and wow - I was amazed by the stunning views and peaceful surroundings. The Bell Tent had everything that I needed and all the other amenities were nearby. The bus service was also easy to use and the farm is located a short distance away from Dundee. The host was very friendly and responsive. I will miss the horses but I will be back again! Thank you for an amazing stay.”

“Quiet, peaceful place to stay. I was working in Dundee and this was the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. Great place nicely furnished, everything you need, very comfortable. Communication with the host is very good as I was running late to check in, and they were very accommodating which took a lot of pressure off me. Looking forward to staying again.”

“This is my second visit to the Farmer’s Cottage, and once again, I was blown away by the peace and tranquility. There have been some improvements to the site since my last visit, including a few new additions such as the boat and the camping pod. John and his team are always on hand to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible, and it was lovely to watch and chat with the young girls tending their horses. I will definitely return for more country walks, beautiful sunsets, and an uninterrupted night’s sleep. I would highly recommend it.”

“Myself and my 10 year old son stayed for 4 nights at the Farmers Cabin. We had a wonderful stay. We were originally booked for 3 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We liked it that much, we’d have stayed longer if we could. Beautiful surroundings and gorgeous horses in the field right outside. Clean bathroom facilities. Henry is an attentive and friendly host. Definitely worth visiting local Tentsmuir absolutely stunning beach and forest.”

“What can I say? This place is amazing! Easy to find instructions and great communication with the hosts. The boat is so comfy and cosy! I’m 5foot 8 and had the best nights sleep. The bed is really comfy and cosy. There’s lights inside and out, power sockets, a wee kettle, glasses, plates and crockery. There’s even a small heater for when the temperature drops. The toilet/shower block is spotlessly clean (as was the boat) and with quick hot water, a lovely welcome in the morning 🙂 There’s also a fridge to share and your own bbq and picnic table. I can’t recommend this book place enough, it was a great wee adventure and I loved every minute. The views are amazing if the sidlaw hills, perfect for sun sets and star gazing on a clear night. Waking up to horses in the next field and spotting lots of birds and rabbits. John and Henry were quick to answer if I needed anything and they have done a brilliant job to make the boat welcoming. I cant recommend this place enough, I’ll be back. 😊”

“This is hands down the best glamping site I’ve ever been to! 👋 We stayed in a standard bell tent, which was cozy, cute, and impeccably tidy. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the horses were an absolute highlight—so beautiful and calming. Even though it rained, the atmosphere was still perfect for a relaxing getaway. 🍂 We also noticed a newly built sailboat-shaped pod next to us, which looks amazing—I’m definitely coming back to stay in that next time! Henry was incredibly warm and welcoming, always busy making sure everything was perfect for guests. We had a great BBQ 🍖 with friends, surrounded by nature. Highly recommend this spot for a memorable and unique glamping experience!🧑🤝🧑”

“We had a brilliant stay in the yurt, the location was beautiful, it was peaceful but not too far away from things to do. Henry and John were very welcoming and helpful. The yurt itself had everything you would need plus some extras (irn bru and some snacks!) The toilets and shower are not far from the yurt and are kept incredibly clean. Would definitely recommend it to others thinking about coming to Scotland, wish we had stayed there longer!”

“Such a beautiful and peaceful stay. Bring a good book, turn off your phone and enjoy the surrounding area. Good walks, good views and a good bbq here. Great place to getaway from city life and put the breaks on (although very close to dundee centre- 15 mins). The hosts are really easy to communicate with and allowed us to check in slightly earlier. Check-in was really simple with the key box. Bed is very comfy. Had treats for us on arrival - biscuits & iron bru - lovely touch. 😍”
